The Association of Fundraising Professionals is preparing to
celebrate the 2010 National Philanthropy Day.
The awards are an opportunity for the community to
celebrate the philanthropic contributions that have been
made in the Mahoning & Shenango Valleys.
As a chapter, we have been lucky to have honorees
that have been especially dear to our hearts.
As we prepare for our 20th year,
we are asking for your assistance in identifying the
individuals, organizations and businesses in our area
who work tirelessly for the betterment of our community.
We are currently accepting nominations for these
prestigious awards in a variety of categories.
If you know of someone deserving of recognition,

by July 31, 2010.
It is important to verify that your nominee is willing to
attend the dinner and accept their award.
Even if you do not nominate someone to receive an award, we
hope that you will save the date for this year’s National
Philanthropy Day. It
will be celebrated Tuesday, November 16. We would love to see you there and hope that you
will be able to join us in celebrating the amazing work of
