Chamberlain Scholarship
Guidelines
The AFP Foundation for Philanthropy is proud to offer the
Chamberlain Scholarship Program for the 2012 International
Conference on Fundraising. This program is designed to help
individuals serving nonprofit organizations develop their
knowledge and skill in fundraising. The Foundation invites all
chapters to participate in the program by following these
guidelines:
· Chamberlain scholars receive the full cost of conference
registration less a $10 processing fee. Chamberlain
Scholars are responsible for registering themselves for the
Conference and for making all travel and lodging arrangements
using a special Chamberlain Scholar Registration Form that will
be provided to them in a packet of materials from AFP
International Headquarters.
·
The Mahoning/Shenango AFP Chapter will provide an additional
scholarship up to $500 to help recipients with travel and other
associated costs. The $500 additional Chapter Scholarship will
be paid directly to the individual or his/her employer
organization. The recipient is required to submit all receipts
to the chapter treasurer in order for the scholarship payment to
be processed. Mileage will be reimbursed as per the current IRS
rate
The Chamberlain Scholar will be selected based on the following
